Tthe Nitchi H-50A Hand Chain Hoist series of chain blocks are compact and lightweight. The H-50A also features Nitchi’s legendary durability and toughness. Double cover protection, load chain, load brake, reduction gear, hooks and load sheave characteristics are also consistent with the HE-50A series.
Two Independent pawls
Failure of a pawl is very rare, but if one pawl should fail, the H-50A has a second backup pawl that will hold a load securely and prevent the dangerous free falling of the load.
Optional Overload Protection
Nitchi manual chain blocks overload protection is factory set to 125% of the WLL and is achieved by using a special friction clutch disc hub on the lever hoist and a special friction clutch hand wheel on the chain hoist. The hoist will not lift the load if the load is in excess of 125% of the WLL but the brake will continue to function normally. The hoist will resume normal operation when the load is reduced toless than 125% of the WLL.
Bearing
The latest technology in bearing efficiency for chain blocks has led The Nitchi Co to the combined use of high-grade precision needle bearings, long wearing special hardened steel bushings and ultra modern carbon bushings. The bearing supported pinion shaft is a totally new concept in bearing efficiency for chain blocks. The carbon bushings and the precision needle bearings ensure a super-smooth operation and eliminate the possibility of pinion shaft seizures.
Safety Link
A specially processed safety link joins the endless hand chain and is designed to open slowly if the effort on the handchain is causing the chain block to be overloaded
