Fall Arrest Blocks with wire rope cable most commonly have galvanized cable, but also can be fitted with stainless steel wire for the more harsh environments including shipping and offshore.
Some of these blocks can be used in a horizontal plane, though not all and in lengths from 3m to 60m cable.
